As the Chinese government prepares to release its 14th Five-Year Plan, which is to cover broad ambitions from 2021–2025 and a “long-term vision” out to 2035, Premier Li Keqiang on March 5 delivered an outline of some of the forthcoming plan’s major elements. Li devoted one of nine major themes to science and technology and a “digital China.”
